Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions we are asked about our products and services. If you don't see your question here, feel free to contact us directly.

Where do you offer ABA consulting services?
Our coverage map is constantly being updated as we add staff and look to expand into areas where our assistance is needed. For the latest coverage, check our locations page or contact us directly.

Is there a waiting list for services?
This can sometimes happen, depending on the region where you live. However, we make every effort to maintain staffing levels to accommodate the needs of the communities in our region, so that lists (if there are any) are short and we can get to new cients as soon as possible. Your best bet is to contact us directly to be sure.

What forms of payment do you take?

Do I hire my own therapist(s)?
Yes. We do not currently recruit therapists for the families with whom our consultants work; however, we will be happy to forward any resumes we receive to families we know are in need of therapists. Any reference checks, background checks, etc. that you think are necessary as well as interviewing the person will be completely at your discretion. Additionally, our consultants believe that doing therapy themselves is of benefit to them professionally and to the children they work with as well; therefore, assuming that your consultant has time available, it is quite possible that she will be able to do occasional therapy with your child.

How much do your services cost?
Pieces of the Puzzle is the brainchild of the parents of a recovering child and the people who helped to make his recovery possible. Our mission is to help as many children with autism come as close to complete recovery as possible because we have experienced first hand what that means for a family. We have also experienced first hand the enormous financial cost of putting together and maintaining quality intervention programs for a child with autism. Because of that and our dedication to helping other children, we seek to provide high quality products and services priced so that as many families as possible can afford them. As such, all of our services are billed at an hourly rate that is considerably less than (often half) what many competitors charge.
